‘From The Ethics of Acting to the Empire Without Signs’, a solo exhibition of work by Issa Samb (Senegalese artist and member of the Laboratoire Agit’Art in Dakar) is on view at Rivington Place June 4-July 26, 2014. ’The gallery installation will include materials and works shipped from Senegal as well as found elements collected in London’s street markets. An archival display of material will also position Samb’s work in relation to his engagement with Laboratoire Agit’Art and to Senegalese art and politics.’ This exhibition was curated by Koyo Kouoh from Raw Material Company.
